The Contingent Leader meet for Kaleidoscope 2019 was held on Tuesday, 13th of August, 2019. Slowly, the workforce, sporting Kaleidoscope merch, filtered in.
Our Executive Committee started the meet by familiarising the CLs with this year's theme "In Future Tense", and explained how exactly "it is about the possibilities of tomorrow."
Team Security kicked off the presentation by describing the rules and regulations that the participants need to adhere to throughout the fest.
Team Despatch reminded the CLs that Elims Week will begin on the 9th of September and the fest itself will take place on the 14th and 15th of September. They added that the participant list should be emailed to them by the 1st of September.
Team Technicals were up next. They declared that the participants were allowed to bring CDs and USB drives. They were allowed to bring laptops but only for the drama events.
Team Numerics elaborated on the scoring pattern and explained the point system.
Team Pre-K unveiled various interesting online competitions which had very names like "Is it 2012 yet?" and "Skit just got real". They encouraged the CLs to attend the social rallies.
Team Performing Arts explained the new slotting system. This year the three slots will be open at a time and the contingent can choose from them on a first come first serve basis.
Other than their flagship events, Literary Arts, Fine Arts and Informals unveiled new events.
This concluded the CL Meet 2019. It was a major success. We got a glimpse of our event and can't wait to see what Kaleidoscope 2019 has in store for us!
